Virginia Ann Jewell Adams, 97, formerly of Polk, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Sugar Creek Station.

Born on February 2, 1921 in Mineral Township, she was the daughter of the late Prentice H. and "Nanny" Gertrude (Dobbs) Jewell.

Adams and his wife, Mindy, of Polk, Cathy Eggleston of NM, and Jeff Stull of Titusville; her 17 great-grandchildren; her one great-great-grandchild; and her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Adams of Polk.

In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her two sons, David Adams and his wife, Donna and Paul R. Adams; her grandson, Michael Leckemby; her brother, Cordell Jewell; and her two sisters, Mary Buckley and Elsie Krizon.
